Master Classes, Open Lessons

November 19: 9:30am-2:30pm

November 20: 10am-11.30am

Participation in the Masterclasses (Lessons with Piano Day faculty open to the public) will be on a selective basis, with audition videos to be submitted by application deadline. Audition pieces must be no longer than 10 minutes duration, and may be selected from any of the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th Century, or Jazz genres. The audition fee is $40; in case a student is not selected to join the masterclass presentations, the student will automatically be eligible to participate in our recital series. 

The student will be assigned a time slot, and will remain on campus for their assigned time.

Recital Series

November 19: 3pm-5pm

November 20: 12pm-4.30pm

The recital series will present performances from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th Century, and Jazz eras, and prizes will be awarded for the best performance in each category. You will have the opportunity to participate in the concert, to listen to your peers, and to compete for these exciting prizes! The entrance fee for the performance concert is just $30. The pieces to be submitted for the concerts must be no longer than 20 minutes. 

Each student will be assigned a time slot during one of the recitals.

Each recital will be 60 minutes long.
